Maxon has released Cinema 4D R11. Among the many new features is a completely new Global Illumination algorithm, rendering much more realistic GI scenes. Better render speeds, 64bit OS X support and the inclusion of a very interesting matte painting system called Projection Man that looks to ease the process of creating mattes, through tight integration with Adobe Photoshop and Bodypaint.
