Some really great boards from Superfad’s CG/VFX Director Dade Orgeron. Sadly it seems these boards for ESPN College Basketball never got produced. But they sure are beautiful.

One of my favorite production companies Superfad, has created two very different spots for Nascar. First up is ‘Pressure’ a chalkboard animated spot that turned out amazing. I was struggling last summer with a similar chalkboard look for some personal work, and seeing what Superfad did here is intimidating. The wheels look like hand drawn animation while the rest is 3d.
This is awesome. Really great idea, and very well executed.
Maybe it’s the speed, maybe it’s the power, or maybe it’s just the ear-splitting noise, but something about tackling a new
NASCAR project always inspires a lot of really interesting and fun ideas for us to dive into, and this year was no exception. (more…)

I really like King and Country‘s rebrand of the NFL network’s Scoreboard. Looks Great. It’s one of those flash website, so I can’t directly link to the project. You’ll have to dig through their site
