Brand consultancy and creative agency Troika has teamed up with Sportsnet, a subsidiary of Rogers Communications Inc., on a fully-integrated brand campaign across all five of the sports media entity’s platforms: tv, radio, digital, mobile and print. The brand offering, which includes a new logo, tagline, animation and graphics package, and theme music is set to launch concurrently with the start of the 2011-2012 NHL season.

With the release of Maxon’s Cinema 4D R 13 I thought I’d share some ways I think C4D can assist you, the sports graphics artist. If you don’t know, Cinema 4D is one of the industries leading 3d motion graphics software packages. In the world of sports graphics, there isn’t a better way to get great 3d onto your big board cheaper and faster than C4D. If your aren’t using it, I suggest you read on. (Also, I’m not getting paid to write any of this, I just love this stuff).
